so Monday here,  we both crashed last night and slept well!  headed back to the airport today to pick up the car. Had Lincoln town car pick us up as a taxi.... tinted windows, small stretch limo and driver to match, spoke like the he was in the "god father" and talked like it too. Drove at 80miles and then accelerated when he was in the "toll free lane".  one hand on the wheel and lots of chatting about his grandchildren. Yep!

Headed to Santa Monica beach which was very quiet, and not a lot happening. Tried to drive over to the Getty centre which was closed and ended up at Beverly Hills and stopped at the Beverly Center for lunch and absolutely NO shopping!!! Lots of Tiffany's, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Dolce and Gabbana.  Lots of looking ........ sigh !

Back into another attempt of the Los Angeles freeway to find the Science Center.  Gave up and came back in to the hotel and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Russell enjoying driving  ... I  think .... some moments though with the GPS, which lost power at a very awkward moment.   Note to self, you can NOT stop on the freeway and look at a map ........
